“Andy and David installed both a new A/C unit and a new Furnace yesterday (yes, Sunday and a stormy Sunday). They did it overcoming transportation issues, a tight schedule, the tornado watch, a thunderstorm and intermittent loss of power. They also figured out some arcane issues with the previous wiring during the blackout periods and the thunderstorm. They had to use flashlights and cellphones as sources of light but they got the job done. As Andy said at the end of this very difficult day “When there is a will, there is a way”. They are living proof that Michigan continues to have people with great technical knowledge and a commitment to get the job done. I’m glad we found Comfort Mechanical Heating and Cooling. Andy and David have the tenacity of wolverines plus a huge amount of experience and technical expertise.”

“If you are looking for someone who can take care of your HVAC quickly and efficiently, contact Comfort mechanical. I had an issue wity my AC being very loud on start up and not keeping the place cold enough. Contacted them and the service person came up on the weekend and fixed the issue right away. He had to adjust my vents and add some more juice to it. Now my AC is running smoothly and the air coming of the vents is cold. I highly recommend this company!”

“A/C went out a during heat wave on a Sunday night, we called without much hope but were happily surprised to get a Monday appointment at noon. The communication was great with an immediate confirmation email and a call from Andy the tech letting us know he was on the way. He diagnosed the problem, fix it with parts he had in his truck and carried out a service of the A/C unit, all done quickly and professionally. They even provided us with a quote to replace the unit before they left. Overall our experience with Comfort Mechanical was excellent.”

The owner literally explained everything for me on what was wrong with my HVAC unit. A previous company told me I need to replace the unit ASAP and tried up selling me, Adam on the other hand was very upfront and honest about what is wrong! “Comfort Mechanical in Ann Arbor MI took care of an AC leak on the evaporator and added new refrigerant. The crew was quick to find the installation issue and took care of it in less than 2hrs. Highly professional team. However, the company that installed the HVAC (Pulte in Michigan) washed away any warranty responsibility at my house that is less than 2 1/2 years old. Shame on Pulte !”

“Hamza and Dan were absolutely outstanding. First, Hamza. He answered his phone at night, and yes he's a contractor. He then came out and gave us an estimate at 8PM after he finished a service call. Yes, he works and also provides estimates. Our house is an old country house, clapped together with wads of chewed bubble gum and band aids, so we have experience with contractors/estimators. Hamza was a breath of fresh air. He didn't try to upsell us once. He asked what we needed and gave us precise estimates for just that, beating the big liar-been-around-forever-upselling corporations' estimates by more than half. Incidentally, Hamza also worked all day installing the unit. Next, Dan. He was fantastic. Hamza told us he had 30 years of experience and it showed. He patiently listened while I explained what a contraption our house is and what we can and can't do to it, and then he did exactly what we discussed, perfectly. Dan also allowed me to ask him a million questions, unflinchingly, for which he had answers. The product is reputable and the installation was first class. For example, I am writing this review in my home office with warm feet for the first time ever. Dan and Hamza showed up on time and also cleaned up exceptionally -- the basement looks better than before they came. Seriously, go with these guys if you want the job done right and for a fair price!!!”
